This is a simple survey from the new MHSA(Mental Health Services Act) coordinator, Jennifer Kennedy to help identify the top priorities for mental health adult services.

Also included in the document is some information regarding the Adult System of Care work group that has the ongoing task of identifying and working on the adult services plan for the Mental Health Services Act funding in Mendocino County.

Please take a moment to add your voice and let us know what you think the priorities should be for adult services in Mendocino County, California.

A recent book just crossed my path about Post traumatic stress and finding healing within the relationships that are so intimately impacted by the trauma experienced by one of both of the partners. 

The authors have worked with couples after the 911 tragedy as well as countless others in the more than two decades of experience in the field of counseling psychology.

I haven't read the book yet but plan on doing so soon.

The Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) at the Ukiah Senior Center has openings for seniors who would benefit from good health care in a very caring environment. We also provide respite for those who are caring for a spouse or parent who in addition to health needs would enjoy getting out and being with peers.
